A resident from Spring Lake, NJ was very bothered as a section of the concrete floor in the garage was sinking. Quality 1st Basement Systems sent out Senior Design Specialist, Andrew Gagliardi after booking a free estimate appointment with our appointment center. Andrew noticed the slabs were uneven and a part of the driveway was chipped.
Senior Foreman, Victor Leon, and his crew went out to fix the issue. To lift and level the floor, the team drilled small holes to pump in a Polyurethane foam called Polylevel. PolyLevel can last indefinitely. It’s inorganic, it’s not sensitive to water so it won’t wash away. Once the PolyLevel foam is injected, it’s there to stay. Unlike the material used in mudjacking, the PolyLevel polymer won’t break down or disintegrate, avoiding all of the problems of washing out and erosion. After lifting the concrete slabs, the team installed nexus pro on the cracks to seal it from the outside environment. In less than 15 minutes the driveway was ready to be driven on again.
Quality 1st Basement Systems lifted the sinking interior slab in Closter, NJ. By injecting PolyLevel underneath the sinking concrete, the concrete was supported and raised back to a level position. The job was done quickly with minimal disruption.
This Englewood, NJ homeowner decided it was finally time to resolve concrete settlement issues around their backyard pool deck. They noticed slabs were becoming increasingly disheveled and feared for the worst. This owner knew without a proper fix, this problem would eventually result in an overall decline in the structural integrity of their home, as well as, potentially fatal tripping hazards. After our foreman Ash and his crew arrived at the home and began installing our specially formulated PolyLevel Foam Injections beneath the sunken slabs, they were able to lift and restore them to their designated surface height. Not only did our team repair this surface but with the power of PolyLevel securely in place, we have ultimately strengthened and fortified this surface to withstand settlement challenges for many years ahead.
Check out these great before and after photos of this concrete pool raising job we did in Cedar Grove, NJ. A homeowner was experiencing serious concrete settlement near the left side of their pool. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff, upon inspection, measured roughly 2 to 3 inches of settlement and recommended PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete.
A homeowner in Oakhurst, NJ wanted a solution to their sinking concrete porch. They called Quality 1st Basement Systems and we used PolyLevel to bring the concrete back to a raised position. Check out the before and after! You can see the large concrete slab was settling creating a gap near the brick, and siding of the home. Water could easily get trapped or seep below the surface and wash away more soil, causing further movement. Our team was able to fill the voids, raise the slab back towards original level and permanently stabilize the entire area.
