This sidewalk was sinking and settling outside of an Atlantic Highlands, NJ home. To bring the settled concrete back up to level with the rest of the sidewalk, Quality 1st Basements used PolyLevel foam, which is a lightweight solution with the strength to lift and stabilize heavy concrete.
To create a safer environment for their family and guests, this homeowner contacted Quality 1st to remove trip hazards surrounding the pool. The concrete had settled over time due to water from the pool eroding the soil beneath the slabs. Our team installed PolyLevel beneath the slabs to fill the void where the soil had washed away. PolyLevel is strong enough to stabilize and support concrete but light enough that it won't add any weight to the already heavy soil under the slab.
The installation was quick and the pool deck was able to be used within 15 minutes after the installation was complete.
We were recently contacted by this Seaside Heights NJ homeowner who was facing concerns of potential tripping hazards and a structural decline due to concrete slabs settling directly near their home's front porch patio. After conducting a thorough examination of the situation our system design specialist Joseph was able to offer the owner an essential solution to meet their needs. Next, our foreman Ash and his talented team of concrete repair experts arrived at the home and began installing our specially patented PolyLevel Foam Injections as well as our ultra violet resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant. With the help of PolyLevel, we have successfully restored the surface to its original height and stabilized the soil beneath by ensuring all voids created by poorly distributed soil are filled.
Due to the compaction of soils beneath this sidewalk, the concrete began to sink and settle. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st to fix the trip hazard that was created by the sinking concrete. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Andy G. informed the homeowner that PolyLevel would be the perfect solution to their problem. Our PolyLevel Team led by Iian, went out to the home on the day of the installation. First, they drilled small holes into the concrete. Next, they injected the polyurethane foam through the holes to lift and level the concrete. Once the concrete was level, Iian and his team sealed the joints with NexusPro.
The concrete that was supporting the pavers around this pool was beginning to sink and settle- causing the pavers to become uneven. Since the surface beneath the pavers was concrete, our team was able to temporarily remove the pavers and inject PolyLevel beneath the concrete. Following the PolyLevel installation, the joints were sealed to prevent water from eroding the soil beneath the concrete. The pool area is much safer now with the even pavers.
