High Humidity levels in this crawl space had the homeowner questioning how to reduce the moisture before it started to damage the home. After speaking to a neighbor who had the same issue, he found out that encapsulation helped eliminate his issue, and he immediately reached out to our company.
First, we did a full Mold-X2 treatment to treat the mold that had already started growing due to the moisture. We then installed our SilverGlo insulation, Drainage Matting and a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier. To finalize this install, we installed brand new Vent covers and a Crawl space door, and a SaniDry Dehumidifier, which will keep humidity below 55%.
This homeowner in Earleville, MD, reached out to us regarding floor sagging on the main floor. Our inspector provided a free estimate inspection to find a solution. He suggested installing our SmartJack Support System, which are steel piers that are made to stop the settling. This system can even raise the floor back to its actual level. These piers are able to adjust over time and can help with future settling.
This homeowner in West Grove, PA, was facing challenges with a notably cold crawl space due to the presence of exposed dirt floors. These dirt floors tend to absorb moisture from the ground and release it into the crawl space, resulting in an unstable environment. The Quality 1st Basements team conducted a thorough assessment and determined that a complete encapsulation of the crawl space was necessary to effectively manage moisture and maintain heat retention. Our team installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a robust solution designed to keep the crawl space dry. Additionally, they installed SilverGlo insulation Panels to provide thermal protection while also creating a barrier against any existing moisture. The homeowner can now enjoy peace of mind, knowing that her crawl space is not only protected but has also been transformed into a usable space, all while benefiting from reduced heating costs.
We helped this customer with crawl space repair.
This customer had a very damp and humid crawlspace that was causing mold to grow and the current insulation to fall down. To start off this project we first removed all the old damp insulation and then treated the mold with our Mold-X2 treatment. Next, we installed our SilverGlo insulation wall panels and sprayed our spray foam insulation. Following our insulation install, we put down our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, install a SmartPump with Smart Pipe and then we finish up the install with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
