Overtime, a homeowner in Aberdeen, MD started experiencing persistent crawl space moisture, which had led to concerns about indoor air quality, mold growth, and the potential for long-term structural damage. After noticing musty odors and signs of dampness beneath their home, they contacted our team for a professional assessment.
Upon inspection, we discovered the moisture was the result of poor drainage, insufficient insulation, and a lack of proper vapor and humidity control, all common issues that can compromise both the health and energy efficiency of a home.
To resolve these issues, we implemented a comprehensive crawl space encapsulation and waterproofing system. This included installing our SilverGlo Insulation Panels to enhance thermal protection and resist moisture buildup, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System to provide reliable water removal under any conditions. We then sealed the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, preventing moisture from entering through the floor and walls. To protect against winter backups, we added our IceGuard Discharge Line, and completed the system with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to maintain consistent humidity levels.
Together, these solutions transformed the crawl space into a dry, energy-efficient, and healthy environment, providing the homeowner with long-term protection and peace of mind!
This crawlspace in Conowingo, MD had a concrete floor that was constantly damp and because of the constant moisture, the insulation started to fall down. Our company's solution to this damp crawlspace was to encapsulate. To start this project off, we first installed our Waterguard around the perimeter of the crawlspace. We then set down our Drainage Matting and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier over top and even wrapped the piers. To finalize this crawlspace project, we installed 8 brand new vent covers and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
This homeowner had some trouble in her crawlspace after Hurricane Ida came through. There was standing water, mold and a musty smell. The customer was interested in waterproofing solutions and wanted the space encapsulated. Here we began removing all the old insulation and treating the area with Mold-X2 Cleaner and Botanical. Since the space had issues with standing water, we installed a SmartSump Sump Pump System to route away any incoming water. The old insulation was replaced with SilverGlo Thermal Insulated Panels. To encapsulate the space, we laid down CleanSpace Drainage Matting followed by our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Liner.
This narrow crawl space was damp and had a strong musty odor traveling into the house. To correct the issue we first did a Mold x 2 Treatment, then proceeded with installing a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier, Clean Space vapor barrier, SilverGlo insulation and a Smart Sump with Floor Alarm.
At this property, the homeowner's gravel floor crawl space was beginning to get a musty smell that had started carrying up into the 1st floor of the home. We were able to send a team out to encapsulate the space to eliminate the moisture and vapor seeping up through the ground floor. Lastly, we removed the old board beams to install our SmartJack galvanized beams that stabilize the joists with the support from sagging floors and undersized beams.
