This customer reached out to our company in need of a solution for his damp and humid crawlspace. Currently, the insulation was falling down and there was a dehumidifier running 24/7 that he found himself emptying, at least twice a day. We came out to the property and installed our SilverGlo Insulation, Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along with our SmartDrain and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. Now this bright, clean and dry crawlspace can be used for storage again and the homeowner can be worry free of any damages that may have been caused by water and mold.
In this damp dirt-floor crawl space, a smell was beginning to come up into the home, and the homeowner had located some growth that was in question. Our team encapsulated the area of the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor barrier that lies over the CleanSpace drainage matting. In order to keep the moisture down, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that will stop mold growth, dust mites, and eliminate odors.
For this Willow Street PA crawlspace, we removed all improperly installed insulation and then did a Mold X2 Treatment. We then went on to install our SilverGlo Insulation, which features a radiant barrier that will reflect heat back into your crawlspace. Next to install was the CleanSpace VaporBarrier, which will stop any water vapors from entering the crawlspace. Finally, we finish up with an installation of a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, which will filter and dry the air and eliminate musty odors.
This house had problems with bouncy and sagging floors. We installed three SmartJacks with galvanized steel beams to help carry the load of the joist. First, we dig holes in the floor and fill them with crushed stone to provide a base for the SmartJacks. Then we install the jacks with 8-foot-long galvanized steel beams. This solved the problem. The floor is nice and sturdy.
When persistent moisture began to threaten the structural integrity of their Abingdon, MD home, the homeowner took decisive action to protect their investment. After contacting Quality 1st Basement Systems, our team conducted a thorough inspection and identified excessive humidity and inadequate vapor barrier protection as the root causes of the crawl space’s damp conditions and potential mold growth.
To resolve these issues, we installed our patented CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant liner that seals the crawl space from ground moisture. This was complemented by our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, a high-efficiency system engineered to maintain optimal humidity levels year-round.
Together, these solutions transformed the crawl space into a dry, healthy environment, preventing rot and mold while improving indoor air quality and providing the homeowner with lasting peace of mind!
