Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Port Deposit, MD, began noticing increasing water intrusion in their basement, primarily due to an old window that allowed moisture to seep in, creating damp conditions and musty odors. Concerned about potential mold growth and structural damage, they reached out to Quality 1st for a lasting solution.

After a thorough inspection, our team developed a tailored waterproofing plan to address the root cause of the problem. We installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to efficiently manage water flow, paired with our TripleSafe Sump Pump to ensure reliable water removal. To eliminate the source of moisture, we replaced the old window with an energy-efficient EverLast Window, and added our SunHouse Window Well Enclosure to protect the area from debris and water accumulation.

With these advanced solutions in place, we successfully restored the basement to a dry, healthy environment, providing the homeowner with peace of mind against further water seepage issues!

Customer had a few cracks along the basement wall and when it would rain, water would seep in through the cracks. To take care of this, we used our patented product called FlexiSpan. Flexispan is a 2 part system, a crack sealant and a hidden drainage channel that directs any leaking water to your sump pump. The drainage channel is permanently sealed to the foundation, and if there is any wall movement, the channel will flex with it. 

This owner called us and was in need of repairing some concrete and a wall system installation to help with wall leakage. We cut the bottom of the walls to be able to install our CleanSpace Vapor barrier, which is placed and sealed flush against the perimeter walls. This vapor barrier prevents the evaporation from ground moisture that would pull up and into the home. The barrier is puncture-resistant, making it effective and durable over time. 

This customer had a humidity issue in the basement. We installed our BrightWall vapor barrier and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, not only is the humidity under control, but the walls look cleaner and brighter.

In this recently purchased home, water was intruding through the basement walls after rainfall and would run down onto the cement floor with no place to go. We installed our sub-floor drainage system that collects any water coming down the wall, then flows through the channel into the sump pump system. We placed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier around the foundation wall that captures vapor or moisture that leaks in. By installing this system, the basement will no longer be damp from moisture and with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, the humidity level will drop exceedingly.
