Over the years, as your home faces the wear and tear of weather and settlement, the foundation supporting your home's structure can weaken. For this Dumont, NJ home, our Quality 1st team was called in to reinforce the foundation and prevent water damage from continuing to threaten the home. To do so, we encapsulated the home's crawl space with our CleanSpace and Drainage Matting vapor barrier system. The walls were also insulated with our SilverGlo Insulation Panels. To reinforce the home, SmartJacks were installed beneath the home. These galvanized steel beams are completely adjustable, providing a permanent foundation support system for the home. These additions to the crawl space will keep the home, and all those living inside, safe and supported!

A homeowner in Ocean, New Jersey noticed their walls were cracking and bowing inwards, which is caused by hydrostatic pressure against the wall. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jack Huber, provided an inspection and suggested a carbon fiber strap to stabilize the wall. Our foreman installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcement System which is made from a fiber-reinforced polymer. The straps are attached to the wall and fastened with steel brackets.
