A homeowner from Glassboro, NJ had sinking a sinking concrete pool deck. It was a trip hazard and needed to be repaired. Quality 1st Basements fixed the homeowner's concrete by injecting PolyLevel under the slab until it was back in place.
Sinking concrete can cause trip hazards and that's something you don’t want near the entrance to your home. This is exactly why we helped raise the walkway area in front of this house. By raising the slab, our team removed the trip hazard making the walkway area safe again.
The concrete slabs around this pool area had created a small trip hazard near the edge of the pool. The goal was to remove teh trip hazard and stabilzie the concrete to prevent future settlement. Concrete Repair Specialist, Jack Huber recommended PolyLevel, to lift, level and stabilzide the slab.
This concrete back patio area was sinking and settling towards the middle making it hard for water to flow through to the grass when it rained. Small puddles of water would form and sit there for days after causing staining and water erosion.
Concrete Repair Specialist, Jack Huber, suggested raising the existing slabs back towards their original level. He recommended our Concrete Raising solution known as PolyLevel.
Quality 1st Basements raised the walkway area leading up to the steps to the door on the side of a home in Monroe Township. To prevent water erosion underneath the slab, our crew installed Joint Seal for protection. The slab is now raised, stabilized and protected. The homeowner was amazed at how clean the installation process was.
Concrete Repair Specialist, Jack Huber, recommended our concrete raising solution, PolyLevel for the sinking concrete around this pool area. Over time, the concrete slabs had settled from the weak soil underneath. PolyLevel will fill the voids between the slab and the soil, raise the existing slab back towards its original level, and permanently stabilize the area to prevent future settlement.
Concrete Foreman, Nick, and his team raised each sinking and settling slab around this pool area by injecting polyurethane foam underneath the slabs. Small penny-sized holes are drilled into the concrete slab and using special equipment, PolyLevel is injected underneath, expanding to lift the slab. Once each slab is leveled, the foam begins to harden to stabilize the concrete. PolyLevel is perfect for around the pool area since its waterproof and environmentally friendly.

Quality 1st Basement's Design Specialist, Jack Huber, was on hand to help design a solution for this customer's wet crawl space. CleanSpace Drainage Matting would be installed on the floor to eliminate sitting water and direct it to a drainage system. Next, the installation of SilverGlo Insulation Panels for the walls would reflect heat back into the crawl space for energy efficiency while providing a water vapor barrier. Lastly, a durable CleanSpace liner would be installed to further prevent vapor from making its way into the crawl space and to complete the encapsulation. This system was installed by foreman Victor Leon and his crew to give the customer peace of mind and a fresh and cleaner looking crawl space.
After a visit from Quality 1st Basement's Design Specialist Jack Huber this customer elected to have a heavy-duty, non-corroding, waterproof and air-tight Turtl access installed for his crawl space in Hazlet, NJ. Victor Leon and his crew installed the new, long-lasting access entry.
