A homeowner in Kendall Park, NJ encountered foundation issues that jeopardized the stability of their residence. Clearly visible cracks along the basement walls indicated significant pressure affecting the foundation, which, if not addressed promptly, could lead to a complete collapse of the wall. Our skilled team at Quality 1st implemented a noninvasive preventative installation to rectify the situation. CarbonArmor strips were securely bonded to the compromised foundation walls using a high-strength epoxy resin, effectively reinforcing and stabilizing the structure. With the installation of these strips, we successfully restored the home's stability and provided the homeowner with peace of mind.

A Monmouth Junction, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems describing their basement walls had began to move inwards. We call this, bowing, and it is usually caused by hydrostatic pressure against the foundation from the opposite side. The solution we recommended for a basement wall experiencing this type of movement, is the Carbon Armor Reinforcement System. The Carbon Armor Straps are applied to the wall with an epoxy adhesive which stabilizes the walls.
In Rockaway, NJ, a homeowner observed signs of foundation settlement on the side of their home, with visible cracks in the walls and floors that were becoming increasingly uneven. The shifting foundation was beginning to cause doors and windows to stick, which raised serious concerns about the structural integrity of the property.
After reaching out to Quality 1st, our team conducted a thorough inspection and recommended our specially patented Helical Pier System as the best solution. The installation process involved driving steel piers deep into soil to anchor and lift the foundation back to its original position, stabilizing the structure permanently.
Once the piers were fully installed and the home was leveled, the homeowner was extremely relieved to have their property restored to a safe, stable condition, eliminating further settlement risks and ensuring long-term foundation protection!
After hearing about Quality 1st through a magazine, this Warren, NJ homeowner called for a free estimate. The foundation of his home had cracked and was beginning to bow out. System Design Specialist, Kenny T. inspected the foundation and determined that installing Our GeoLock Channel Anchor System would be the best solution.
On the day of the installation, Victor and his team installed the system to support and stabilize the foundation. First, they dug a small trench in the dirt outside of the foundation. Next, they drilled a hole through the wall to drive the rod into the soil. The rod was then connected to an anchor in the earth and attached to the inside wall plate. Once the wall plate was attached, the soil and sod were replaced and compacted. The last step was to tighten the anchors one last time.
Once the installation was complete, the foundation was completely stabilized and the homeowner no longer had to worry about their basement walls cracking and bowing anymore.
A homeowner in Denville, New Jersey noticed their basement walls were cracking and bowing inwards. This happens when the soil around the home becomes too wet or too dry causing the foundation to shift and move. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, provided an inspection and suggested they use a high strength carbon fiber strap on the wall. Our foreman installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System which provides ultimate strength in stabilizing the walls.
