This customer was looking for help improving her dirt floor crawlspace. The space had a strong musty odor and there were definite signs of mold growth. We recommended a crawlspace encapsulation system with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. First, we started by regrading the ground to redirect any water seepage towards her sump system. Then we removed the old insulation and treated the entire area with our Mold X2 cleaner and botanical. In place of the old insulation, we installed our SilverGlo insulated wall panels and spray foam. Finally, we lined the floor in Cleanspace drainage matting and our Cleanspace liner. This crawlspace is now safer, healthier and more energy efficient.
In Elkridge, MD, a homeowner grew concerned after noticing water seepage in their crawl space and sloping floors throughout the house, warning signs of moisture intrusion and potential structural issues. Worried about long-term damage and indoor air quality, they contacted Quality 1st for a professional evaluation.
Our team conducted an extensive inspection and identified elevated humidity levels, insufficient insulation, and weakened floor joists as key issues. To address these problems, we proposed a tailored solution focused on moisture control, energy efficiency, and structural stabilization.
Our crew began by installing SilverGlo Insulation Panels along the crawl space walls, which reflect heat back into the space while providing moisture-resistant insulation. Next, we encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System to create a durable, sealed environment that blocks ground moisture and reduces humidity. To restore the home’s structural integrity, we installed our SmartJack System beneath the sagging beams, lifting and supporting the floor above. These combined systems not only eliminated the homeowner’s moisture concerns but also restored the crawl space to a clean, dry, and structurally sound condition, providing lasting peace of mind and protecting the home for years to come!

For this project the homeowner reached out regarding their finished basement and water coming in through the foundation walls. We were able to capture the water leakage with our CleanSpace Vapor barrier installation along with our WaterGuard sub-flooring drain system. The CleanSpace is a poly sheet material that covers the entire basement and works as a barrier for any water or vapor coming through into the home. This particular covering forces any type of seepage down to the sub-floor drain then flows into the sump pump, preventing any unwanted water in basement.
This homeowner was in dire need of help with his damp, moldy crawlspace. He called us for assistance and we transformed this space for him. We started with regrading to direct water seepage towards the sump pump. Next, we took care of a mold issue using our Mold-X2 Cleaner and Botanical. Then we installed SilverGlo insulated wall panels along with our CleanSpace liner and drainage matting for a total crawlspace encapsulation system. The CleanSpace system acts as an effective moisture and vapor barrier while providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance.
