We were contacted by a homeowner located in New City NY that were facing concerns of concrete surface settlement near their poolside patio area. After meeting with our system design specialist Joseph, he assessed that the home would require our foreman Ramon to install our specially patented PolyLevel Foam Injections as well as a full application of our ultraviolet-resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant. PolyLevel will successfully lift and restore the sunken slabs to their original surface height, it will also stabilize the walkway by filling in any voids left beneath due to poorly deposited soil. NexusPro Joint Sealant is applied to the surface to safeguard against erosion and to fill any cracks that could potentially permit water intrusions. Now this homeowner can wholeheartedly trust that their pool patio is reinforced to take on any future indications of concrete settlement.
Instead of removing and replacing this sidewalk at this Weehawken home, Project Manager, Eder Sanchez and his crew were able to lift each concreteslab and raise it back to level. Now the homeowner can use the sidewalk to get to the backyard without tripping and falling like in the past.
This sidewalk was sinking outside of an office building in Ridgefield, NJ. The building owner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to discuss the options he had. The design Specalist went to Ridgfield and did a full inspection of the entire sidewalk around the building. He noticed that there was only a select few concrete slabs that needed lifting. Qualty 1st foreman and his crew was able to pump 363 pounds total of PolyLevel into the sidewalks to raise them back to the desired level.
The concrete area connected to the front walkway had settled near the front steps and foundation of the home. Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff Pitek, worked with our team to provide a permanent solution to these homeowners concrete concerns.
Our team recommended PolyLevel, a lightweight and waterproof polyurethane foam that lifts and levels the concrete back towards its original position.
Check out how our team raised this sinking and settling front walkway. They drilled small penny-sized holes into each concrete slab. Next, using special equipment, PolyLevel was injected underneath the slab, raising it back to level. Once the slab is raised, PolyLevel hardens to stabilize the slab to prevent future settlement.
