What began as minor dampness quickly became a clear warning sign that the basement needed professional attention. In West Chester, PA, a homeowner discovered persistent moisture intrusion that, if left unresolved, could eventually result in mold growth and structural deterioration. Recognizing the importance of addressing the issue properly, the homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for a permanent and reliable waterproofing solution.
After a detailed inspection of the basement, our System Design Specialist Jeff identified the source of the water seepage and designed a customized waterproofing plan to fully protect the space. The solution included the installation of our patented WaterGuard Drainage System and TripleSafe Sump Pump to effectively manage water entry, along with CleanSpace Wall Panels to create a moisture-resistant barrier. To further improve the basement environment, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to control humidity levels, and our IceGuard Discharge Line was added to ensure dependable system performance throughout the year!
This West Chester, PA homeowner contacted us after a leak repair and was keen on installing a French Drain, although no current water issues were noted. For true peace of mind, we equipped the basement with a TripleSafe Sump Pump, SuperSump, and DryTrak system, capped off by a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
This customer already had a walk out basement along with an egress window,so an emergency exit was not needed, but, the current egress was extremely old and was allowing water to seep in to the basement.
We came out and tore out the the wood around the egress, we then did a digout to fit the large 72" Egress Rockwell and included a Rockwell Cover. We also replaced one of the old small basement windows with our EverLast Basement Window and installed 2 Sunhouse wells with Sunhouse covers.
In this partially finished basement, under the Bilco doors, there seemed to be water at the bottom of the stairwell. We installed our TrenchDrain surface drainage system, which will effectively capture surface water that makes its way down the stairwell. By installing this heavy-duty reinforced plastic drainage channel, you'll never have to worry about rust, moisture damage, or upkeep.
This customer would get water leaking in the basement during heavy rainfall. Here we dug up around the perimeter of the basement for our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. The WaterGuard is designed to capture any wall leakage, whereas the CleanSpace acts as a vapor barrier to prevent any moisture or mold.
