Dealing with persistent moisture in their crawl space, a homeowner in Middletown, DE recognized the potential risks of mold growth and structural damage and turned to Quality 1st for a lasting solution. Our team conducted a thorough inspection to assess the extent of water intrusion and determine the most effective course of action. By evaluating the unique conditions of the space, we were able to design a tailored waterproofing plan that would protect the home for years to come.
The solution included the installation of our patented SilverGlo Insulation Panels to provide both moisture resistance and thermal protection, a TripleSafe Sump Pump for reliable water removal, and an IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent freeze-related damage. To further safeguard the environment, we added our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to control humidity and a Window Well Duct to ensure proper ventilation.
Together, these high-performance solutions restored the crawl space to a dry, healthy state while giving the homeowner peace of mind and long-term protection against further moisture problems!
At this property in Middletown, DE the homeowner was experiencing rain buildup in their Egress Well that was leaking into the basement after heavy rain. The owners had also recently purchased a temporary pump to help with the problem, but too much water was filling up. We went out to the home and installed our SuperSump pump system in the window well, as well as a whole new window well drainage system that will keep the basement from getting water in during heavy rain. Our SuperSump system includes the Zoeller M53 cast iron pump that will adjust to your pumping needs, keep your basement dry.
At this recently purchased property in Middletown, DE, moisture was building up in the lower part of the home and causing the basement to get humid. We installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which is the most effective and high-performance system that will hook into the sump pump system, so you will never have to drain it yourself. This device stops mold growth, odors and eliminates the humidity that creates that muggy feeling. This dehumidifier not only keeps the basement dry but also keeps the whole house dryer and healthier.
At this home, the owner reached out to Basement Systems regarding a non-working sump pump system and had muddy water coming up through the floor where the walls meet whenever it would rain. Alongside the perimeter of the foundation wall, we jackhammered a trench in order to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system that will capture the seepage coming through. Once the water carries down into the sub-floor drain, it will go into our SuperSump System that will safely pump out water from the home, keeping your basement dry.
We were reached out to by this customer because they were looking for an emergency exit for their basement. They had numerous basement windows, but none big enough to escape out of, so they asked us to turn one into an Egress.
We came out and installed 28 x 48 Out-Swing Egress window along with a 42 x 48 with RockWell Cover. We also installed a WellDuct right under the Egress, which will drain any water intruding over to their current waterproofing system.
