Check out this amazing Basement Transformation! System Design Specialist, Steve and our Foreman Mario worked together with the homeowner to completely transform this damp basement into a dryer and healthier space! We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, IceGuard and our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier.
This homeowner from Jackson, NJ had a failing sump pump that was not keeping the water out of his basement. To make absolutely sure his home was fully protected from flooding, the homeowner consulted Quality 1st Basements to install a TripleSafe Sump Pump in the basement. This was worth investing in for the customer because with the TripleSafe's three pumps and built-in alarm, he had peace of mind knowing his basement would be protected.
A homeowner from Washington Township was experiencing a leaky basement. Heavy rains would cause water seepage through the walls and floor of their basement, so much that there would be puddles of water. The lowest point of the basement was determined and a Triple Safe Sump Pump was installed to solve the leakage and pump out the water from the basement.
Our Moisture Vapor Barrier known as CleanSpace, was installed to the walls of this Basement to prevent moisture and water seepage through the foundation walls. The CleanSpace will force any water coming through the foundation walls directly down into the our WaterGuard Drain system that directs all water over to the sump pump.
When the homeowner is ready to finish their basement, their investment will be protected against any basement flooding or water seepage that could have damaged the finishing products such as drywall or carpet.
A crawl space in Lavallette, NJ, was in need of insulation as the area was high in moisture and humidity. Quality 1st Basements installed Clean space Walling which blocks moisture from evaporating into the crawl space, keeping it dry and reducing heat loss. SilverGlo insulation panels were also installed to keep the crawl space temperature steady.
Tired of musty odors, mold growth, & high utility bills, this homeowner in Brick,NJ contacted Quality 1st Basements about encapsulating their crawl space. Their goal for their crawl space was a cleaner and healthier space that would stay dry and moisture free in the summer and warm in the winter. Our team installed the CleanSpace Vapor barrier to seal the space off from the harmful outside environment that could cause serious damage to the crawl space such as water, cold drafts, humidity and pests. The homeowner no longer has to worry about musty odors caused by mold and debris. Additionally, the insulated space has lowered their heating and cooling bills significantly. Since their water pipes and duct work are located in the crawl space, they are no longer over worked to keep the house and their water warm.
When System Design Specialist, Steve Ventriglio, went to inspect this basement for water issues, he noticed that the basement windows were not only allowing humidity and cold drafts inside but also water seepage. So Foreman Mario, and his team replaced all the old basement windows with new windows that will allow light in but keep unwanted moisture and water out.
