Quality 1st Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Chatham, New Jersey was experiencing water in their basement walls during heavy rains. There were also signs of efflorescent on the walls and floors. Quality 1st specialist, Laszlo Lenkey inspected the basement and noticed the signs of water and efflorescent.

WaterGuard was installed along the basement floors below the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing. This ensures that the system will be out of the mud zone and will not clog. A sump pump was also installed in the basement to pump the water out of the basement. The SuperSump sump pump was installed to keep the basement healthy and dry. This sump pump is capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water an hour out of an 8-foot head out of the basement. This basement is waterproofed and the homeowners will not have to deal with any more water entering their home.      

A sinking concrete garage floor can be lifted back into place with PolyLevel injections, just like this customer's garage, visited by Quality 1st Basement's Concrete Specialist, Jeff Pitek. After the foaming agent was installed by foreman Nick Boldman and crew, the difference was remarkable. 

Our customers in Chatham, NJ had a few peoblems in their basement, in this case the battery for the backup sump had corroded and the unit was not working.  Design Specialist JC Gibrianorecommended a new UltraSump battery backup.  With the warranies they received and the quality of install from Mario and his crew, the customer was happy to have the piece of mind Q1 was able to give him.

Our customer in Chatham had so much water in the walls they actuall fell down!.  Design specialist JC Gibriano worked closely with the customers to make sure whatever was donw wouod fix the issue.  Mario and his crew removed the rotted studs and installed Waterguard perimeter drainage to get the water away from the walls and the floors and get it to the sump pump to be taken away. Once the walls were put back the customer had no more water issues!

When our customer in Chatham needed a new sump pump, design specialist JC Gibriano let them know all of their options.  He also explained that the get the water out right, we would run a new discharge and tie it into the existing downspout so all the water could be moved away as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Installed by Mario and hus crew the sump works perfectly and the water is flowing away as fast as it can.
