An Atlantic Highland homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement System after stumbling upon a Total Basement Finishing Ad on the money mailer envelope. The interior of this basement was completely remodeled with Quality 1st Total Basement Finishing products. The walls were all replaced with the Everlast Wall Restoration System. Since the Everlast Walls are 100% waterproof, they will never rot, wrap or discolor. These panels also add insulation to the basement, creating a warmer, more comfortable space. The ThermalDry Canyon Beige Modular flooring was also installed in the basement as it added to the finishing touch. The ThermalDry flooring tiles are durable and reliable, interlocking together making it easier to remove and replace one or more tiles without having to replace the entire floor. ThermalDry Flooring also allow air to circulate underneath them, which facilitates the drying of trapped moisture. The tiles are stain resistant, have variety of colors and styles and are easy to install. Quality 1st Basement Systems left these homeowners very satisfied with the newly improved basement.
This sidewalk was sinking and settling outside of an Atlantic Highlands, NJ home. To bring the settled concrete back up to level with the rest of the sidewalk, Quality 1st Basements used PolyLevel foam, which is a lightweight solution with the strength to lift and stabilize heavy concrete.
Our System Design Specialist, Andy, did a full inspection of this large basement and recommended a full perimeter system to keep it dry. The homeowner discovered water stains on the walls and floors and contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems right away to have a specialist take a look.
Foreman, Juan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System and our WaterGuard french drain system to protect this basement from future water seepage and flooding. Andy also recommended our Dehumidifier to prevent musty smells and moisture from forming.
Check out this before and after of our TrenchLock Drain! Since this water heater was located on a slab, we wanted to protect it at all cost. We installed our TrenchLock Drain to ensure it would keep the area around the water heater dry since it will accept water from the floor and redirect it to the sump pump, keeping the area dry.
To create a safer environment for their family and guests, this homeowner contacted Quality 1st to remove trip hazards surrounding the pool. The concrete had settled over time due to water from the pool eroding the soil beneath the slabs. Our team installed PolyLevel beneath the slabs to fill the void where the soil had washed away. PolyLevel is strong enough to stabilize and support concrete but light enough that it won't add any weight to the already heavy soil under the slab.
The installation was quick and the pool deck was able to be used within 15 minutes after the installation was complete.
