A homeowner in New Egypt, NJ had a musty smell in her crawlspace. This was probably because of the moisture in the dirt floor that was evaporating into the crawlspace. Quality 1st Basements was called to encapsulate her crawlspace and turn it into a healthier environment. CleanSpace was put on the walls and floors of the crawlspace to prevent moisture from coming through, a SaniDry Dehumidifier was used to get rid of the moisture in the air. Once the crawl space was properly encapsulated and isoalted from the earth, our team installed Vent Covers to keep moisture, bugs, and other organic materials out of the crawl space.
A home in Plumsted Township had a musty odor to it due to the air in their dirt crawl space. The crawl space was filled with water, creepy critters and a huge amount of humidity. These were all signs of a crawl space that needed to be repaired.
Quality 1st Basements was able to help this homeowner, by installing clean space, drainage matting, silverglo and a Sedona Dehumidifier. The clean space liner prevents creepy critters from getting inside the crawl space as well as allowing the crawl space to be accessible. The silverglo panels allows the crawl space to be kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The sedona dehumidifier is a great addition to the space as it cancels all the musty smell and humidity, out of the crawl space.
A Olin, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basements when they noticed water entering their basement every time it rained and their backyard flooded. We sent System Design Specialist, Javier, out to inspect teh basement and design a solution. Noticing how large the basement was, Javier recommended our TripleSafe Sump Pump to provide the ultimate protection against the water coming in. The Triple Safe sump pump provides three level of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. The waterguard French drain system allows the flooded water to drain it into the sump pump. After the install was made, the homeowner was pleased to say that our Foreman Jonathan and his team left the entire basement cleaner than it was before they began.
A homeowner in Old Bridge, NJ was having a high level of humidity problems in the crawl space. Quality 1st came out to the home and installed a Sedona dehumidifier, clean space walling and drainage matting.
The homeowner was pleased with the results after the installation was complete. The clean space liner keeps the area clean and keeps the creepy crawlers away. The Sedona dehumidifier stops mold growth, musty odors and dust mites away from the crawl space.
This Sayreville, NJ homeowner was experiencing water seepage in their crawlspace when it would storm. The moisture gave off a musty odor that could be smelled throughout the home. Quality 1st Basements helped the homeowner create a healthier environment in their home and created added storage space by installing CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing they aren't breathing in unhealthy air from their crawlspace and can use the crawlspace for storage purposes.
Brynne, from Neptune City, contacted Quality 1st Basements for a solution to his concerns in his basement. He noticed dampness from time to time during and after heavy rain. We sent Specialist, Javier out to do a full inspection of the basement area and design a solution that would keep the space dry.
Upon inspecting the damp basement, Javier noticed multiple cracks in the foundation wall. Knowing that over time this could cause serious foundation issues, he suggested the basement walls be stabilized. He suggested our Wall Reinforcing System, Carbon Armor to stabilize each wall and a TripleSafe sump pump to provide the ultimate solution for the dampness.
A family in Red Bank, NJ was devastated when they saw that their finished basement had flooded. The drywall was soaked and so were the floors. Realizing that they needed to do something to fix their problem, they contacted Quality 1st Basements. System Design Specialist, Javier Romero, went out to inspect the home. Javier suggested that they completely waterproof the entire perimeter of the basement. In addition to waterproofing, he advised the homeowners to remove the drywall that had absorbed water. By removing the drywall and replacing the wall with a half wall EverLast Paneling System, they could be sure that there would be no mold growth in the basement. The EverLast Wall Panels are made of inorganic materials that will not be affected by moisture. By having the EverLast Wall Panels installed, the homeowners knew that in the event of a plumbing leak, their walls would not be affected. The walls brightened up the basement and made the space look finished again.
A homeowner from Fair Lawn, NJ had an exposed dirt floor in her crawlspace. The moisture from the ground was evaporating into the crawlspace, creating a musty odor and an unhealthy environment. Her crawlspace was also unbearably humid. She called Quality 1st Basements after hearing about their services. System Design Specialist, Javier designed a solution for the homeowner that she was approved of.
SilverGlo and Cleanspace were installed in the crawlspace. SilverGlo was used to help insulate while CleanSpace created a barrier for moisture so it won't pass through walls and floors. An Everlast Window sealed the crawlspace from the outside air, so the humidity wouldn't get worse. In addition to the insulation provided by SilverGlo, the area between the was also insulated with Rim Tight Foam Insulation.
Once the job was complete the homeowner had peace of mind that she and her family were breathing in healthy air.
