Our foreman Wilver installed the Drainage Matting and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. This system is made of plastic layers designed to specifically protect the crawl space. CleanSpace is waterproof and resistant to mold, and it is secured in place with drilled fasteners and spikes. Now, the homeowner has a dry and healthy crawl space all year round!

Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in Fair Lawn, NJ about a crawl space concern. The homeowner was experiencing some humidity issues in their crawl space and decided to have it encapsulated. We provided a thorough inspection of the crawl space and knew our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier would be the perfect solution. CleanSpace prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through the crawl space. Since the installation, the homeowner has not experienced any other issues in their crawl space. 

Our team recently addressed a crawl space in Kearny, NJ, which required a new waterproofing system to safeguard it from the damage caused by heavy rainfall. To create a pathway for water to drain away from the foundation and crawl space floor, our Drainage Matting was installed throughout the area. This matting directs water into the WaterGuard Perimeter Drains, which channel the water into the newly installed TripleSafe Sump Pump. With three pumps integrated into one system, this sump pump is designed to manage high volumes of leaking water, preventing flooding in the space. Additionally, the drainage matting was sealed with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to inhibit water penetration, and the area was insulated with our SilverGlo Wall Insulation. With all these new components in place, this crawl space is now assured to remain free of leaking water and protected against humidity.

Our team transformed this wet basement into a dry and healthy space by installing a full waterproofing system and our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. Both together will prevent moisture and humidity along with water from getting inside the basement. The CleanSpace on the walls will seal the basement from mold and water seepage that could cause a musty odor or dampness. It will also create a brighter and more finished look in the basement until they are ready to finish it to create extra living space.
