Recently, a homeowner in Egg Harbor Township, NJ had been facing ongoing issues with concrete settlement along their front sidewalk, resulting in uneven slabs that posed both a tripping hazard and a noticeable eyesore. As the problem worsened, concerns about safety and diminishing curb appeal prompted the homeowner to reach out to Quality 1st for a long-term, non-invasive solution. Understanding the importance of both function and aesthetics, our team conducted a comprehensive assessment to determine the most effective approach to restore the walkway.
Based on our findings, we implemented a customized repair plan utilizing two of our most advanced concrete solutions, PolyLevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel Foam Injections were used to lift and level the sunken slabs by filling the voids beneath the concrete with a lightweight, yet durable expanding foam. To complete the restoration, we applied our UV-resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant to protect against moisture infiltration and further erosion.
The result was a fully stabilized, level, and visually refreshed sidewalk. Not only was the tripping hazard eliminated, but the homeowner could now take pride in a safe and attractive entrance to their home!
