In Charlestown, MD, a homeowner was facing constant water seepage in their garage, creating a damp, uncomfortable, and potentially hazardous environment. Concerned about the long-term impact on their home and health, they reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems for help.

After a thorough inspection, our team proposed a dynamic waterproofing solution tailored to the garage’s needs. We installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System and TrenchDrain to capture and redirect water before it could spread across the floor. These systems were connected to our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which offers triple the protection, including a battery backup to keep the system running even during power outages.

To further protect the space and enhance its usability, we installed CleanSpace Wall Panels to block moisture and improve the garage’s overall appearance. An IceGuard Discharge Line was added to ensure water can still be discharged even if exterior pipes freeze in the winter. Finally, a new Egress Window brought in natural light, improved ventilation, and ensured the space met emergency exit safety standards.

With these upgrades in place, the homeowner now has a dry, healthy, and functional garage, and peace of mind knowing their home is protected year-round!

This Parkesburg, PA customer called in to our company with a vertical crack in his poured foundation wall. The customer stated the owner prior to him tried to fix the crack himself, but was not properly done. We sent one of our foundation experts out to this property to inspect and work up a free, no-obligation estimate. Once the proposal was reviewed, and our product and process were explained, the customer chose to move forward with the work he was quoted.

We sent our certified technician out to complete the FlexiSpan install on this poured foundation wall. Our FlexiSpan is a polyurethane polymer sealant that is warranted to permanently seal the crack, not allowing any water to leak through and to not crack due to any natural movement of the foundation wall. 

At this North East home, the basement walls were taking on water, and then the water would collect in the corner of the room with no place to go. We were able to install our CleanSpace Vapor barrier that will capture the leakage coming through the walls. Then we installed the sub-floor drainage system that will flow any moisture or vapor from the walls down into the sump system, keeping your space dry and moisture-free.

This customer had an existing sump pump but was looking to upgrade. We came out and installed a Super SumpPump with a Battery Backup.
