Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Ewing, NJ noticed some water seepage occurring in their basement during heavy rain. Unsure exactly where the water was seeping in from, they decided to contact Quality 1st Basement System to meet with a Waterproofing expert. Upon inspection, our System Design Specialist noticed the water had originally seeped through the small space where the floor and wall met. Over time, water began seeping through small cracks in the foundation. We recommended a full perimeter waterproofing system to stop water seepage and potential flooding. Our crew installed the SuperSump Pump System, and WaterGuard French Drain System, to collect and direct water away from the homes foundation. CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier was installed to the lower section of the wall to stop water seepage and moisture from passing through. 

Every time there was heavy rain, the cinder blocks in this Ewing Township basement would get wet and water would appear along the floor against the wall. Over time, moisture and water marks appeared and the homeowner began to worry and called Quality 1st Basement Systems.

Quality 1st installed WaterGuard and a SuperSump pump system in the laundry room area to collect and direct the water out of the basement. A Vapor Barrier known as CleanSpace was then applied to the walls to protect against water vapor and moisture. The CleanSpace is tucked into the WaterGuard to catch any water leaks and guide it to the water to the drain.

To begin annual maintenance on this Trenton homeowner's TripleSafe Sump Pump, Service Technician Jerry opens the airtight liner lid which has been developed to keep debris out of the sump pump pit. Once opened, Jerry proceeded to remove the primary cast-iron Zoeller pump along with the UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump and clean all of the components of these hard-working pumps, ensuring that their function remains in tip-top operating shape. Additionally, the liner is cleaned and sanitized before the sump pump system is reassembled as dirt and sediment can make its way into the liner with the ground water.
