Quality 1st repaired a foundation wall and installed a sump pump in my basement. We had some difficulty with the town approving the foundation wall repair and Kyle saved the day! He is the on-site project manager. He coordinated with the engineer, the installers, and the town to make it right. In the end, we needed 2 extra steel support beams and Kyle made sure they were installed immediately and correctly without charging me extra. My only advice to anyone who needs a foundation repair is to request Quality 1st have the engineer visit the site first rather than later.

I am satisfied with the work done by Quality 1st at my home. I had a problem with water in my basement and needed a professional opinion. I was referred to Quality 1st by my contractor and received my free estimate. The office staff was very friendly and helped answer all of my initial questions. After meeting with my inspector Dan I felt confident that my water problem will be solved. The installation crew and Victor Leon did a very good job and completed the work in just 2 days!

I am very satisfied with the overall installation and work completed by Quality 1st Basement Systems. I had a ton of water that entered my crawlspace after hurricane Sandy from the bay. I met Quality 1st at a homeshow in Brookdale Community College and decided to take advantage and sign up for a free estimate inspection. My inspector Dan was friendly and gave a good presentation on what he recommended to waterproof my crawlspace. I got a sump pump installed and encapsulated my crawlspace to protect me from future storms. Everything was installed in just 2 days and the installation crew was very professional. Now I feel confident that my crawlspace will be kept dry during future storms.

Before contacting Quality 1st I was getting water in my basement the walls and windows. I called for a FREE estimate appointment after I found them online and received the best customer service. I met with my inspector Jessica who is a very special individual. She knows her product and creates confidence. Overall she was very professional, caring and diligent. The installation crew worked long and hard. They completed an enormous amount of work in record time. The job was well done and they cleaned up extraordinary. The crew leader Victor advised me at every stage as to what to expect. A friend of mine was visiting who had her own French drain installed and stated she has never seen such a clean job.

I hired Quality 1st Basement Systems because they offered a solution that made the best sense and had a excellent sales presentation. Having lived in this house for 51 years i look forward to a systems of water removal that is much more efficient to carry off ground and rain water that in this location is a 365 days a year problem.  The installation crew was polite and efficient workers it was an overall good experience and you may use me as a reference as you need.

I first approached Quality 1st Basement Systems because I was interested in getting a quote for basement waterproofing, and possible foundation repair. When I first contacted them, I was very satisfied with the information that was provided to me. Ultimately however what sold me the most was the sales team. I had three estimates in the past for the work which was performed, however Ken Peare's sales tactics won me over. The crew, with Juan as the foreman, was extremely efficient, friendly and left the basement in fantastic condition. It was much appreciated!

I had a window well drain, new window well (1st Quality basement sun house) and new window installed in my basement in a area where water would get in during heavy rains. Juan Garcia was the foreman on the job and he and his crew were excellent. They were professional, courteous and patiently answered any question I had as they were performing the job. The crew was thorough and clean, which all homeowners can appreciate. When the job was done, Juan and crew did not rush out the door. Juan ensured we did a full walk through and he re-explained everything one last time. This is a fairly straightforward job for them, but I certainly will bring back 1st Quality for potential jobs down the road.

When we bought this home, it was a dry period at the end of the summer and our inspection noted water stains on the exposed footing in one of our crawl spaces. He suggested it was a grading issue which we addressed with a landscaping company. However that didn’t alleviate the puddles forming after heavy rains in the crawl space. I realized we would have to water proof it so that I could get piece of mind. I called in 3 companies, 2 wanted to do French drains inside leading to a sump pump. A method I was familiar with from a prior basement waterproofing. I was very skeptical when Jeff Nero a design consultant for Quality 1st came to explain the encapsulation concept of water control. Jeff got into the space and looked over every area of my concern, coming up with a suggested solution. After answering all of my concerns and questions, Jeff had convinced me this was what i needed for my problem. I would be encapsulating the space with their system AND they would be insulating the entire space to an R11 value. Before water proofing became an issue this insulation was going to be a separate project and done by another company; but was all part of the Quality 1st crawl space system. Not only did I do that space but also did the other crawl space that didn't have water but was in need of insulation and seal up. It was prepared the same as the other area but without a sump pump. If water ever got into that space all we would need is to have them install the pump. 2 spaces handled for less than the cost of one space with French drains. I was AMAZED! The crew showed up on time, prepared the area in the basement for dust protection and went to work on the 2 areas simultaneously. By 4:30 they were finished and wow, did those crawl spaces look clean, bright and well insulated. This encapsulation method has allowed me to open up the crawl spaces to the rest of the basement to allow them to become the same temperature as the main basement area. The floors above those areas are warmer making the rooms warmer. Because of this waterproofing method I don’t feel like an obsessed man constantly looking at accumulating water and you know how that feels if you are dealing with water.I’d recommend their system for crawl spaces and am considering their patented basement finishing system too.

I have been completely satisfied with everything from Steve V. coming to my home and giving me a reasonable quote for doing a french drain in my cellar to Juan and his crew doing the job that I am very satisfied with. I would recommend this company for any job that that they are qualified to do.

I was recommended to Quality 1st by a friend and I am overall satisfied with the work completed. They did a good job with waterproofing my basement. I had been wanting to move forward with work for about a year. I'm happy that I finally have a dry basement!

My husband and I were completely blown away by the job that Heriberto and his crew did! Not only were they professional, polite, and knowledgeable, but they were also respectful to the property and when they were done it was spotless! Such hard workers! I am very pleased with the waterproofing work completed by Quality 1st Basement Systems. I had a water problem in the basement for about 3 months before moving forward and contacting Quality 1st Basement Systems. I did research on other companies but liked the reviews that I saw on Angie's List. When I first called the office staff they were courteous and helpful. My inspector Jack was very thorough and knowledgeable. He provided me with all of the information needed to fix my water problem and explained all of the systems. The installation crew led by Wilver did an excellent job, very prompt and neat. They worked non stop until the job was complete, very hardworking overall.

Kudos to Mason Koonce and his crew they did a remarkable job, the quality is outstanding, and their professionalism and downright friendly demeanor demands to be noted and thank. Thank you, Mason, job well done!
