Basement Waterproofing in Manahawkin, NJ

Challenge

This homeowner from Manahawkin, NJ was looking to waterproof their basement. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free estimate. One of our System Design Specialists, Javier Hoyos Romero, recommended a comprehensive waterproofing system to protect their basement.

Solution

SmartSump was installed in the corner to pump out any moisture out of the basement. CleanSpace was installed on the walls to seal out moisture, and odors. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to direct any seeping water to sump pump for removal. LawnScape was installed on the lawn as an outlet for the floodwater from the basement. Finally, a Rockwell Egress Window was installed to provide a safe emergency exit with a clear lid to let sunlight in and keep debris out.

The homeowner could now enjoy their fully waterproofed basement.

WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect seeping water and direct it to the sump pump CleanSpace was installed on the walls to keep the moisture and humidity from the walls from filtering into the basement and weakening the supports and creating an unstable environment.

SmartSump was installed in the basement to pump out the floodwater directed to it. Each SmartSump is fitted with an alarm to alert the homeowner if there's a problem with the system or if the system needs maintenance.

LawnScape was installed as an outlet on the lawn to release the floodwater from the basement. The grate is green and flat, making it inconspicuous for curb appeal and making landscaping easy.

Rockwell Egress Window was installed to provide an emergency exit for the basement with a clear cover to let sunlight in while keeping out any debris.
