A homeowner in South River was unhappy with his wet basement. It seemed that he was constantly struggling with basement flooding, which made it difficult to leave belongings in the basement. He called Quality 1st Basement Systems and a crew installed the CleanSpace Wall System. CleanSpace is a plastic liner that is fitted to walls and creates a seal that prevents water and outside air from entering. It is durable and a great choice for stone walls! With help from our System Design Specialist, Tom Carrano, and Foreman, Juan Garcia, Quality 1st Basements was able to transform this musty and damp basement into a dry and healthy space! Our team installed not only a full basement waterproofing system but also removed the bottom portion of the basement walls that were damp from water seepage. Juan and his crew installed our EverLast Wall Restoration Panels that are waterproof and mold resistant. These panels help keep the basement dry by forcing any water seepage directly down to our WaterGuard drainage system. EverLast Wall Panels have built-in insulation to create a more comfortable environment for your friends and family to enjoy. 

A homeowner was experiencing concrete settlement around their pool  so they contacted Quality 1st Basements for a solution. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff Pitek, went out to inspect the entire pool deck area. After his full inspect where he saw no lift was caused by tree roots he suggested our concrete leveling system, PolyLevel. 

Our team went out to install the PolyLevel. First, they drilled penny sized holes into the concrete. They then injected polyurethane foam into the holes. As the foam was injected, it expanded beneath the surface and lifted the concrete back to its original position. Once the slab was raised, the holes were filled with concrete mix and the area was trip hazard free!

The after photo shows the team in the process of covering the WAterGuard system with stone and cement now that the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier has been installed to the walls.
