The owner of this home noticed that he had moisture and dampness coming from his crawl space. Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the crawl space and determined that the cold air and moisture was due to the dirt floors of the crawl space. The installation team installed CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier to prevent moisture from entering the crawl space in addition to a SuperSump sump pump which will pump any water out of the crawl space and away from the home. The homeowner has noticed that the air above his crawl space is warmer and does not smell musty!
A Mount Olive Township homeowner had noticed their concrete patio entrance had sunk and cracked. The homeowners contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Sinking concrete is a common problem, but it is an easy fix.
Our team used PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam to level the sinking concrete. The foam is injected into the concrete through penny-size holes that are drilled in the concrete. The PolyLevel begins working within 30 minutes and the concrete is leveled back to its original position. This solution is environmentally safe, quick, and a permanent solution.

A homeowner in Mt. Olive, New Jersey, was looking to have it's old sump pump replaced as its life expectancy came to and end. Water would weep down the sides of the walls and puddles of water would form after heavy rains. Quality 1st Basement Systems sent out System Design Specialist, Travis Radford, to inspect the affected area. Travis recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump to permanently keep the basement dry. The TripleSafe sump pump system keeps your basement dry with triple the protection. Most sump pumps fail because of either a failed pump, a pump that can't handle high volumes of water or power failure. The TripleSafe assures protection from all three sump pump problems. The homeowner was very content after the installation knowing the basement was protected from any future water intrusion.
A homeowner in Budd Lake, New Jersey was experiencing water seeping through their basement walls and floor. This occurs because the soil around the home is loose and poorly compacted, and becomes saturated during heavy rainfall. A wet basement can have many negative effects such as damp carpets, musty smells, increased energy bills, and even mold growth. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the SuperSump Pump Classic which will effectively pump water out of the basement. This sump pump has an airtight enclosed lid, to keep the moisture from getting into the basement air. The foreman also installed the WaterGuard Drain System, which sits on top of the foundation footing to keep it out of the mud zone. This system catches the water and drains it to the sump pump.
