This Egress window was installed in an old Philadelphia row home. The customer currently had 1 small window in his finished basement that he wanted to turn into an Egress to bring everything up to code. We came out and installed our 27 x 45 In-Swing Egress window with a metal egress well and cover.
A completed living space in a home's basement should not be jeopardized by water leaks that can compromise safety, health, and comfort. This was the situation for a homeowner in Philadelphia, PA, who reached out to our team for a repair solution. Our crew opted to install a new drainage system featuring our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains. This installation allows any leaking water to flow through the new drainage system and direct it to the newly installed sump pump. Additionally, we replaced the existing system with our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which offers three levels of protection through its innovative three-pump design. These two new installations ensure that the basement is free from pooling water, allowing the homeowner to utilize and enjoy their dry, healthy living space.

In Philadelphia, PA, a homeowner began facing persistent water seepage in their basement, which posed a significant risk of rot and mold growth, threatening the structural integrity of the home. Concerned about the long-term damage, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st for a long-term waterproofing solution.
Upon arrival, our team quickly got to work by installing our patented WaterGuard Drainage System along the basement perimeter, effectively capturing and redirecting water away from the foundation. We also added our TrenchDrain System to manage water flow near doorways, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which included a primary pump, secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup for added reliability. To seal and protect the walls, we installed our mold-resistant CleanSpace Wall Panels, ensuring a moisture-proof barrier.
Together, these systems successfully eradicated further water intrusion issues, transforming the basement into a dry, healthy, and protected space for the homeowner to enjoy for years to come!
After dealing with recurring basement moisture and water intrusion, a homeowner in Philadelphia, PA, reached out to Quality 1st for a lasting solution. During our inspection, we identified key areas where water was entering, particularly along the foundation walls, floor joints, and near the basement entryway.
To address this, we installed our WaterGuard Drainage System to effectively collect seepage along the perimeter, and a TrenchDrain at the entrance to capture surface water before it could spread inside. These systems were connected to our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which features three pumps for maximum reliability, including a battery backup to ensure continued performance during power outages.
In order to further protect the system, we added our IceGuard Discharge Line, designed to prevent backups caused by frozen discharge pipes during the colder months. For interior wall protection and moisture control, our team installed CleanSpace Wall Panels, which act as a vapor barrier while directing any wall moisture into the drainage system. To finish the space with a durable and aesthetically pleasing touch, we installed EverLast Wall Panels, resistant to mold, water damage, and wear over time.
With all components working together, the basement is now fully protected against water intrusion and ready for safe, dry use.
