Adding Extra Living Space with a TBF Finished Basement in Townsend, DE
This was a fairly new home with a large, unfinished basement. Even though the basement was dry, the homeowner chose to invest in Total Basement Finishing (TBF) waterproof and mold-resistant products. A good choice since as a home ages, the chances of having problems with moisture and mold increases. We installed TBF Everlast Wall System, Elite Plank flooring and a drop ceiling. In compliance with building codes, an egress window already existed, so we trimmed it out and made it pretty!
We upgraded the customer’s existing sump pump to a Zoeller M-53 with an UltraSump battery backup and installed a SaniDry XP Air System to keep the air fresh and dry.
WaterGuard in Townsend, DE
This customer would get water leaking in the basement during heavy rainfall. Here we dug up around the perimeter of the basement for our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system. The WaterGuard is designed to capture any wall leakage, whereas the CleanSpace acts as a vapor barrier to prevent any moisture or mold.
Egress in Chadds Ford
This customer wanted to add light and an emergency exit to their basement. We installed a Slider Egress Window, Rockwell Elite with a premier cover. Now everyone is safe and there's natural light in the basement.

This customer wanted to create a bigger window for the basement. We removed the 50-year-old window and installed our vinyl EverLast window along with our WellDuct window well drainage system. By having an Egress window, it dramatically increased the amount of light coming into the basement. Also, in case of an emergency, our Egress Window has built-in steps that make it easier to climb out.
CleanSpace in Chadds Ford, PA
In this Pennsylvania home, the dirt crawl space was getting humid and the owner looked to insulate and to keep the temperature down. In order to keep the humidity low and odors out, we installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier that encapsulates the area. Our vapor barrier is a 7-layer polyethylene composition that is created to reduce moisture and it will help seal out cold drafts that come up through the home. By installing this system, the crawl space is now transformed into a clean, dry and more energy efficient.
