This Glenside, PA homeowner reached out to Quality 1st looking to upgrade their waterproofing system in their basement. To inspect the space and determine the best estimate to satisfy the homeowner's wants, our System Design Specialist Brandon was sent out to assess the home. He was able to determine a repair plan for our foreman and crew to carry out to prevent any more leaking water into the basement. Our SuperSump Pump was installed to replace the home's original sump pump, providing more efficient water removal. Our WaterGuard Drain System was also installed in this basement around its floor perimeter to make a channel for water to flow underneath the floor. With this channel to pass through and freshly updated sump pump, this homeowner was very pleased with our repair!

The installation to raise a sinking concrete slab is very simple. Small penny-sized holes are drilled into sections of the concrete and polyurethane foam, PolyLevel is injected underneath the slab. We found that concrete sinks due to the soil underneath the slab. Soil becomes weak when it is too wet or too dry and can no longer support the weight of the concrete. PolyLevel is a lightweight foam that provides additional support, permanently stabilizing the patio area.
No one wants a damp and dirty crawl space. This homeowner in Phillipsburg, New Jersey noticed their crawl space was attracting pests and musty smells. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to find a solution and our System Design Specialist, Joe Hubbard, provided an inspection. Joe suggested they waterproof the crawl space to seal the space from the earth's elements. Our foreman, Wilver Cardoza, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System throughout the space. CleanSpace is thick and durable like a pool liner and will not rust or rot. This system will seal the crawl space from the elements of the earth to keep it dry and healthy!
