A homeowner in Union City, New Jersey was having foundation problems and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the foundation and realized the foundation was in need of support. The floors above the foundation were sagging and were being held up by wooden posts.

SmartJacks were installed to support the sagging foundation and provides a permanent solution. The SmartJack system is installed by attaching steel support beams to the floor joists and a sturdy base at the floor. The SmartJacks can be adjusted at any time if the home requires it. This home is supported and the homeowners do not have to worry about their foundation being unsupported.

Quality 1st Basement Systems received a call about sinking slabs outside of an office building in Hoboken, NJ. The slabs created a tripping hazard and with the winter weather approaching, the building manager wanted to get it lifted right away. The installation crew drilled a small hole into each slab, pumping the PolyLevel underneath. The PolyLevel then begins to expand and harden, lifting the slab back to the original level. PolyLevel removed the tripping hazard without having to remove and replace the concrete. 

This nasty dirt crawl space was encapsulated with SilverGlo Heat Barrier and Clean Space Vapor Barrier to keep the crawl space dry and warm. A SaniDry Sedona which is the most efficient, high performance dehumidifier and filtration system was installed to eliminate damp and musty odors by drying and filtering the air throughout the crawl space area.
