At a veterans post in Staten Island, NY, water intrusion was overwhelming the existing sump pumps in an unfinished basement. Our team added WaterGuard drainage, a TripleSafe sump pump system, and CleanSpace to provide reliable, long-term waterproofing.

Customer called with major flooding issue in basement which caused damage to the finished basement. Quality 1st Basement Systems came in and removed all the finished materials that were damaged. This allowed us to properly install the WaterGuard drainage system at the floor/wall joint. This gave the homeowner a Lifetime Warranty against ground water seepage. We then sistered the studs with medal studs and installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the finished basement from moisture. Finally we installed our EverLast Wall Panel which is a moisture resistant wall covering and makes the finished basement look great. We totally transformed their basement.

An annual sump pump maintenance is highly recommended to help prolong the protection of your basement. Like a car, maintaining your sump pump provides a full barrier against any water damage, saving you and your home!

This homeowner in Staten Island, New York has been a loyal customer of Quality 1st Basement Systems for ten years! Every year, our service team provides annual maintenance service to clean and test their sump pump system. This maintenance is vital in ensuring the system has an extended lifespan.
