Our team at Quality 1st recently had the privilege of helping a homeowner in Mullica Hill, NJ, who was facing a pretty common yet frustrating issue with their crawl space. It was a chilly, damp area that not only affected the comfort of their home but also raised concerns for potential larger issues like mold growth and energy inefficiency. Our System Design Specialist identified the crux of the problem and recommended installing SilverGlo insulation panels. SilverGlo is our go-to because it’s not just typical insulation, its reflective surface reflects heat back into the crawl space, drastically improving energy efficiency within a home.
A homeowner in Glenside, PA was struggling with water in their crawlspace. To avoid rot and mold, finding a solution that would keep all moisture out was crucial for the structure of the home and the safety of the family that lived there.
Once Quality 1st Basements was contacted, we performed a full evaluation of the problems the homeowner was experiencing. We installed Drainage Matting, SilverGlo Insulation, our mold resistant CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, SuperSump Premier Pump System and our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
The structural health of the home was restored, giving the homeowner and their family much needed peace of mind.

Marlton homeowner had a termite problem in his crawl space. He contacted an exterminator who also pointed out that he had mold in the crawl space and should have it encapsulate to prevent further mold growth. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system and a SaniDry crawl space dehumidifier to stop the moisture which will prevent further mold growth! We also insulated the foundation walls of the crawl space which will help keep it warmer in the winter and therefore reducing the amount of energy the homeowner will need in the rooms above.
Before tackling this damp crawl space in Dresher, PA, homeowners faced constant battles with humidity and moisture. As visible in the before photo, the space was unwelcoming and a haven for potential structural and health issues. Our crew installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System to seal away moisture and protect the crawl space from the earth's elements. The transformation is clear in the after photo—our solutions bring peace of mind, protect the home, and improve air quality!
At this property, the dirt floor crawlspace was under the living room section of the house, which was causing the flood to get cold during the winter months. We encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and laid down a drainage matting under the vapor barrier that captures any moisture that seeps in. Then we installed our SilverGlo insulated wall panel that has been infused with graphite to improve its insulating ability to prevent moisture coming in.
