Quality 1st Basement's Design Specialist, Jack Huber, was on hand to help design a solution for this customer's wet crawl space. CleanSpace Drainage Matting would be installed on the floor to eliminate sitting water and direct it to a drainage system.  Next, the installation of SilverGlo Insulation Panels for the walls would reflect heat back into the crawl space for energy efficiency while providing a water vapor barrier. Lastly, a durable CleanSpace liner would be installed to further prevent vapor from making its way into the crawl space and to complete the encapsulation. This system was installed by foreman Victor Leon and his crew to give the customer peace of mind and a fresh and cleaner looking crawl space.

A Bayonne, NJ wanted to address the sagging floors they were experiencing on the first floor of their home. They needed a crawl space expert to inspect the space and figure out what was causing the settlement and how to properly repair it. Our recommendation was to first address the moisture concerns that caused threat to the wooden beams in the crawl space. The high levels of moistures and humidity caused the wooden beams to soften and sag.
