Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Check out this crawl space transformation we did in Keansburg, NJ! After the homeowner expressed concerns about the dampness and musty smell they had been experiencing in their crawl space, our Specialist, Mike, recommended a moisture barrier. This Keansburg, NJ homeowner noticed their floors on the first level of their home was sinking and settling. They noticed gapping between where their floor and molding used to meet. Quality 1st Basement's Design Specialist, Jack Huber, was on hand to help design a solution for this customer's wet crawl space. CleanSpace Drainage Matting would be installed on the floor to eliminate sitting water and direct it to a drainage system.  Next, the installation of SilverGlo Insulation Panels for the walls would reflect heat back into the crawl space for energy efficiency while providing a water vapor barrier. Lastly, a durable CleanSpace liner would be installed to further prevent vapor from making its way into the crawl space and to complete the encapsulation. This system was installed by foreman Victor Leon and his crew to give the customer peace of mind and a fresh and cleaner looking crawl space.

A Bayonne, NJ wanted to address the sagging floors they were experiencing on the first floor of their home. They needed a crawl space expert to inspect the space and figure out what was causing the settlement and how to properly repair it.
