Addressing Concrete Settlement In Wayne, NJ

Concrete settlement had turned a backyard patio in Wayne, NJ into a safety concern and an eyesore. Years of exposure to the elements had caused the slabs to sink and crack, making the surface uneven and difficult to use. Solution

After evaluating the extent of the damage, our team recommended using the PolyLevel Foam Injection method, a fast and non-invasive repair process that lifts and stabilizes sunken concrete. By injecting a lightweight polyurethane foam beneath the affected slabs, we were able to precisely raise the patio back to a safe and even level. The process not only restored the patio’s usability but also provided long-term support that resists further settlement caused by shifting soil or voids underneath. To address the root cause of the problem, poor drainage, we also installed a TrenchDrain System along the patio’s perimeter. This system efficiently channels rainwater and runoff away from the concrete, reducing the risk of erosion and water pooling that can lead to future settlement.
