Don't let tripping hazards get in the way of your safety! This homeowner in Denville, New Jersey noticed their sidewalk was sinking and becoming unlevel. This can happen when concrete is poured over poorly backfilled soil. Over time, this soil settles and creates voids underneath the slab, causing it to become unlevel. The homeowner did not want this problem to go without a repair, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems. Our System Design Specialist, Joseph DelVecchio, provided a thorough inspection and suggested they use polyurethane foam to level the concrete. Our foreman, Ramon used our PolyLevel Injections to lift the concrete by drilling small holes into the slab and injecting the foam underneath. This process is repeated until the concrete is level again. Now, the residents do not have to worry about tripping on the sidewalk!
This concrete back patio area was sinking and settling towards the middle making it hard for water to flow through to the grass when it rained. Small puddles of water would form and sit there for days after causing staining and water erosion.
Concrete Repair Specialist, Jack Huber, suggested raising the existing slabs back towards their original level. He recommended our Concrete Raising solution known as PolyLevel.
An Egg Harbor Resident noticed his driveway was sinking as time went by. Quality 1st Basement was able to level 3 Inches of concrete by Injecting PolyLevel underneath the affected slab area.
