Concrete will settle over time if the soil underneath is not strong enough to hold its weight. If to wet or dry, the soil underneath a slab will become weak causing the concrete to sink and settle. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff P. recommended Polyurethane Foam, known as PolyLevel to be injected underneath the slab to provide it the additional support it needs to be stabilized and prevent future sinking and settling. 

Roxbury Township had been experiencing sinking sidewalks which became hazardous to the community. They wanted a solution without the headache of removing and replacing the concrete so the Township called Quality 1st! PolyLevel was injected into the concrete slabs, raising them back up to the desired level, creating a safe walk way.

A loading dock behind a commercial building was sinking and settling. A large trip hazard formed due to the unevenness of the slabs. Our team was able to raise the slab back to level and within just 15 minutes the trucks were able to drive over the slab to enter and exit the loading dock. 

Disheveled concrete around a backyard pool had become a growing concern for a Princeton, NJ homeowner, creating safety risks for family and guests and diminishing the overall appearance of their outdoor space. To correct the issue, the crew used our patented PolyLevel Foam Injection repair method, a fast, non-invasive approach designed to lift and stabilize sunken concrete with precision. Small holes were drilled into the affected slabs, and high-density foam was injected underneath, expanding to fill gaps and raise the concrete back to its original level. The process was completed with minimal disruption, and the results were immediate.

The homeowner was left with a safe, smooth, and fully restored pool deck that not only looked better but was also built to last for many more seasons of outdoor enjoyment!
