This customer reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems to raise the sinking concrete near the front door. Our crew came out and drilled small holes in the concrete slab. Using special equipment, we inject polyurethane foam known as PolyLevel, underneath. Now concrete settles because the soil is either too wet, too dry or poor compacted which makes it weak causing settlement. PolyLevel fills any voids between the soil and the slab by expanding and raising the concrete. Once its leveled, PolyLevel hardens to stabilize the slab.
The concrete around this pool was sinking and settling. Our team injected Polylevel beneath the slab to lift and level the concrete. Once the concrete was leveled, they filled the holes with concrete mix and sealed the joints to prevent water from eroding the slab further. Within just 15 minutes of the installation being compelted the homeowner and his family had full access to their pool are.

Sinking concrete and spreading gaps had made a Manahawkin, NJ homeowner’s driveway both dangerous and unsightly, leading them to seek a professional solution from Quality 1st. Upon inspection, our team identified that soil erosion and hidden voids beneath the slabs were responsible for the uneven settling. These conditions are common when water seeps under concrete, washes away supporting soil, and leaves the surface unstable. Understanding the severity of the issue, we proposed a long-term fix using our advanced PolyLevel Foam Injection system.
Our crew carefully drilled small holes in the affected areas and injected high-density polyurethane foam beneath the slabs. As the foam expanded, it filled the voids and gently lifted the concrete back to a level position, all with minimal disruption and fast curing time.
