1-732-800-5441This homeowner in Pequannock, New Jersey noticed that their concrete patio was cracking and sinking. The reasons concrete fails is because the soil below the slab is poorly compacted, or the soil is too dry or too wet. If gone unrepaired overtime, this could also create tripping hazards. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our foreman, Sean Johnson, was able to solve this issue. He used NexusPro, which is a joint sealant that is placed into the slab and seals the cracks. Then, he used Polylevel Injections to raise and stabilize the sinking slab. These injections are done by drilling small, penny-sized holes in the slab and the PolyLevel is injected to raise it. Now, the homeowner does not have to worry about tripping hazards.
