Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

In this basement, water was coming in and would sit in the corner of the home. Our team went out to dig up the foundation along the perimeter to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system that is designed to capture water seepage that comes through the walls. This device is connected to the sump pump system that will properly pump water safely and efficiently away from the home. 

This was a repeat customer of ours. We had previously installed a sump pump in the customer's basement, and then a few years later, water started to appear in a different section. After further investigation, it was apparent that there were small hairline cracks on the foundation wall that allowed water to enter the basement when it rained. 

First, we had to take care of those hairline cracks, so we installed FlexiSpan. FlexiSpan seals cracks with a flexible urethane sealant that will stop water penetration. FlexiSpan is flexible and moves with the wall, which eliminates re-cracking on the wall.

At this home, the discharge line was backing up water through the downspout and also caused mud to backup into the sump pump. We installed the IceGuard with an extended discharge line that will drain out through the LawnScape at the end of the underground pipe. This system will prevent flooding by allowing water to escape through the discharge line and will prevent frozen discharge lines during the winter months. 

Recently, we were called to address a homeowner's concern in Kennedyville, MD. The problem was a leaky crack in the basement wall: a common issue but one that needs a precise and effective solution to prevent long-term damage. The recommended solution? Our trusted FlexiSpan system, designed to prevent leaks even when structural movement occurs. Our production team arrived and began by applying a flexible sealant along the full length of the crack, ensuring a complete and even coat. Next, a carefully selected strip of foam, chosen for its flexibility and porosity, was installed over the crack, creating a protective barrier. To complete this fail-safe process, an impermeable membrane was adhered to the wall, sealing potential vulnerabilities.
