Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This job required that we remove the bottom of the moldy drywall so that a waterproofing system could be installed. We also installed a TripleSafe sump system that can pump over 6,000 gallons of water and has a battery backup pumping system. We never use drywall to restore the wall because it is too vulnerable to mold and water damage. We only use inorganic TBF EverLast wall, which comes with a 50-year guarantee against water or mold damage.

Customer reached out to us because they wanted to waterproof the basement and then refinish (their basement was recently flooded and damaged due to a sump pump failure). 

For the waterproofing portion of the project, we installed a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier on the bottom portion of the wall, Waterguard along the basement perimeter and a SuperSump Pump. 

For the finishing, we used our Everlast Wall restoration on the bottom portion of the walls, which is immune to mold and moisture damage, Everlast Wall Panels and Thermal Dry flooring. We also removed and installed a new half bath. 

At this property, the basement was unfinished, and mold had started to occur in 2 corners of the area. The owner tried to clean off the mold when he noticed that the cement blocks were damp on the outside of the foundation. In order to keep the basement humidity down, we removed the old system and installed our SaniDry Sedona, which is the most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier that will stop mold growth and remove all musty odors.

Customer had a crawl space that was damp 24/7 and feared mold would start to grow any day. Our solution to this problem was to install a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Drainage Matting a SaniDry Dehumidifier to keep moisture and humidity inside the crawl space to a minimum, SmartDrains which water directed through this ball in cup design is drained beneath the space into a bed of gravel which allows the water to go into a dry well and seep into the soil below. We also installed a SmartSump with Floor alarm, which will sound anytime water passes through to warn you of water in the crawl space.

Recently, we had the pleasure of helping a Conowingo homeowner with their wet and uninviting basement. Our System Design Specialist visited the home, conducted a thorough inspection, and diagnosed the issue: ineffective water drainage and a high risk of flooding. We recommended installing our top-tier WaterGuard drainage system, a TripleSafe Sump Pump to efficiently manage and pump out water, and the CleanSpace wall system to encapsulate the area and guard against moisture and mold.
