Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

At this property we needed to install a new way for water to leave the home without it going back into the home. We sent our crew out to install our IceGuard Sump Pump line that is designed to safely discharge water from below grade up and away from the home when the line is frozen. This install will prevent the basement from flooding in cold temperature weather and overall maintenance free for the homeowner. 

In Jarrettsville, MD, a homeowner had been feeling increasingly overwhelmed by persistent water seepage in their basement, which worsened after every heavy rain. The dampness, musty odors, and mold growth were becoming a growing concern, and despite attempting various DIY solutions, the problem seemed to persist. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st, seeking a permanent solution to protect their basement and restore it to a dry, healthy space.

Our team assessed the situation and installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, designed to capture water before it could seep into the basement. The system was placed along the perimeter of the floor, where it efficiently directed water away from the foundation and to a sump pump for removal.

Once the installation was complete, the homeowner’s basement was transformed into a clean, dry, and inviting environment, free from the water intrusion that had previously caused so much stress and damage. They were relieved to finally have peace of mind knowing their basement was now well-protected against further water issues!

Current sump pump had a cracked pit and was no longer working. We came out and upgraded it to a SuperSump pump and also installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to control the humidity in the basement.

With living near the water, this customer constantly had a damp basement, water would often seep up through the floor and puddle in certain areas. Our solution to this problem was to install a Waterguard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement a TrenchDrain around one entry way, a TripleSafe SumpPump and a SaniDry dehumidifier. The Drainage systems will direct any water getting into the basement, to the TripleSafe to get pumped out and the SaniDry will keep the humidity levels in the basement, low.

Customer reached out to us stating there were several questionable cracks in the block foundation that it needed to be assessed.  Once we came out and evaluated the cracks in question, our solution for  this wall was to install 6 Carbon Armor, Carbon Fiber Strips with 6 Armor lock kits. This solution will permanently stabilize the home's foundation wall.
