At this newly purchased home, the owners were seeing that during rainstorms, water would enter the basement under the wall where the floor meets. We replaced the old sump pump with our TripleSafe pump system, which has a twin liner, and the UltraSump battery back-up system with a control box alarm. These three pump systems calibrate automatically to meet the requirements of how much water is pumping out, and the battery backup will protect your home from flooding during power outages.
This basement in Baltimore, MD, had water coming in through the doorway during heavy rainfall. Our team went out to dig up the entryway for us to install our TrenchDrain System that will capture surface water at the bottom of the stairwell. This system is easily removable to clear, and with this installation, the homeowners will no longer have water in the basement. Thanks to our crew, the homeowner's peace of mind was restored!
A homeowner in Baltimore, MD, was facing persistent moisture issues in their basement, primarily caused by cracks in the foundation walls. The recurring water intrusion not only disrupted their daily peace of mind but also forced them to postpone plans to finish and utilize the basement as a functional living space. Frustrated and seeking a reliable, long-term solution, they contacted Quality 1st for professional help.
After a detailed inspection, our team recommended and installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, designed to capture water at the point of entry and redirect it safely away from the home’s foundation. To complete the waterproofing solution and restore the basement’s appearance, we installed EverLast Basement Wall Panels, a mold-resistant, durable, and attractive wall finish ideal for moisture-prone environments.
Together, these systems transformed the basement into a dry, healthy, and inviting space, allowing the homeowner to move forward with confidence in finishing their basement as originally planned.
This Baltimore MD customer reached out to us because of water intrusion in her basement. Whenever the area would receive a hard rain, she would notice water coming in through the basement wall. Our inspector Jim Logue was sent to the house to evaluate and it was determined the best case of action would be to install our BrightWall Panels and also replace their current sump pump with our SuperSump Pump.
BrightWall is 100% waterproof and will never discolor or rot. BrightWall will stop water vapor from penetrating through your basement wall all while providing a bright clean, semi finished look. BrightWall is also durable and washable.
The SuperSump Pump includes a 1/3HP Zoeller cast iron pump with a mechanical float switch, a WaterWatch Alarm System that will sound off if water rises above point where pump should turn on, a SuperLiner that is heavy duty and has 96 holes that allow water to flow in directly from below the floor and it includes an Airtight Lid that keeps moisture from evaporating in to your basement, the lid also keeps items from falling in to the sump pit and keeps out bugs, odors and radon gases.
In this basement, a pipe underground had burst, and the water seeping in caused the cement to crack. We dug a trench along the perimeter of the basement for us to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system and to create a location for the installation of the SuperSump pump. This waterproofing system is designed to capture any water seeping into the basement and safely capture it through the vapor barrier, then flows down into the pump system, keeping the area dry.
