A homeowner in Vineland, NJ, found themselves battling persistent moisture issues in their basement. With water seeping in faster than their outdated sump pump could handle, concerns quickly grew about potential damage to the home’s foundation and air quality. Frustrated by the constant dampness and musty smell, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st in search of a lasting solution.
After conducting a thorough inspection, our experts identified the failing sump pump and inadequate drainage as the primary culprits behind the moisture buildup.
To address the problem, our team designed a dynamic waterproofing strategy tailored to the unique needs of the home. We installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to effectively capture and redirect incoming water, paired with CleanSpace Wall Panels to shield the basement walls from moisture and improve the overall appearance. Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, featuring three levels of protection, replaced the old pump to ensure reliable performance during even the heaviest rains. An IceGuard Discharge Line was also added to prevent freezing-related backups, and our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier now keeps humidity levels in check.
With these advanced systems in place, the homeowner can now enjoy a dry, protected basement, and total peace of mind for years to come!
This homeowner from Vineland, NJ had water seepage issues and structural issues in their basement. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free estimate. One of our System Design Specialists recommended PowerBrace, TripleSafe, SaniDry Sedona, and WaterGuard as a solution.
WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to capture any water seepage from the walls and floors and direct them to the sump pump for removal. TripleSafe was installed to provide the ultimate protection against flooding with its three pumps; one primary pump, one secondary pump, and one battery-powered pump for emergencies. SaniDry Sedona was placed next to it to get rid of any humidity in the air. PowerBrace was installed on the wall to stabilize.
The homeowner can now have peace of mind that their home is safe from water damage and is structurally sound.
This Lambertville, New Jersey homeowner noticed water in their basement after days of heavy rain. Inspecting his existing sump pump he noticed that although water was inside the pit, water was not being removed therefore causing the water to over flow all over their basement floor. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System and WaterGuard French Drain System to properly collect and direct water out of the basement and away from the homes foundation. Unlike their old sump pump system, the TripleSafe has three pumps that sit inside the protective liner to handle high levels of water.
While having a sump pump is important, having the right sump pump to handle the job is paramount. This customer had his sump pump replaced with a TripleSafe Sump Pump system which consists of two cast-iron pumps in one liner as well as a third battery run pump for emergencies. The TripleSafe was designed with an airtight, waterproof lid and comes with a WaterWatch Alarm to alert the homeowner to a non-functioning pump.
Constant moisture intrusion had turned the basement of a Mount Laurel, NJ home into a source of stress and concern for the homeowner. Worried about the potential for mold growth and the impact on indoor air quality, they turned to Quality 1st for a lasting solution.
Our team conducted a detailed inspection of the space, identifying how and where water was entering. With this information, we designed a custom waterproofing plan to address the root of the problem and prevent future issues.
To eliminate the moisture and protect the basement long-term, our crew installed the WaterGuard Drainage System along the perimeter of the basement floor. This system effectively captures any seepage and redirects it away from the foundation, keeping the space dry. We also installed CleanSpace Wall Panels, which serve as a durable vapor barrier, blocking wall moisture while brightening the room.
The result was a clean, dry, and healthier basement environment, providing the homeowner with immediate relief and the long-term peace of mind they had been searching for!
