A concrete porch of a house in Berlin, NJ was experiencing sinking and settling concrete on one side of the patio. Quality 1st Basements came to the homeowner's aid and lifted the side that had sunk with PolyLevel solution. The PolyLevel foam is lightweight but strong enough to lift heavy concrete back up so that it is level.
A Delran, New Jersey resident was experiencing water coming in through the center of their floors. This can be a problem because when the floor is absorbing water vapor from the concrete slab, mold can grow and the floor itself can start rotting.
To avoid this happening any further, they called Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jay Alvarez, was able to help them with a solution. He suggested a plank flooring to replace their old floor. the Our foreman, Mario Barron and the Quality 1st Basement Systems crew, installed the Thermal Dry Elite Plank Flooring. This flooring has no wood and will not be affected by moisture or water damage. These planks have long tiles that lock together and also have raised pegs on the bottom to keep them from getting cold and damp. These planks can be easily removed and dried out if there is a leak. There are four colors to choose from which are, Pecan, Walnut, Espresso, and Gray. The homeowner now has luxurious, water resistant plank flooring.
A front step of a walkway in Mercer County, NJ had settled about 2 inches. Fixing it was fast and easy with the PolyLevel solution! The polymer foam was injected under the settled slab and expanded until the slab was level with the surrounding slabs. Now the homeowner has an even surface to walk on.
A homeowner in Robbinsville, NJ, was very worried that someone would accidentally trip on the way to the door, as there was a dangerous tripping hazard. A concrete slab had gradually sank over the years and needed to be repaired. Quality 1st Basements arrived to save the day.
Polylevel foreman, Ash Ganatra, arrived on site to handle the situation. Ash drilled small holes into the slab to pump in the polyurethane foam. The foam was able to lift the slab as it expanded underneath the sunken slab. In less than 15 minutes, the homeowner was able to walk over the slab. After the slab was lifted to the original position, Ash placed Nexus Pro in between the cracks to finish it off. The homeowner was very pleased with the work and it gave him a piece of mind.
This Princeton, NJ homeowner wanted to make their basement a more usable space by installing walls and floors that would create an appearance of a more finished basement. Moisture and humidity can cause the paint on the cement block walls to peel and flake away as well as cause odors. Basement Design Specialist Jay Alvarez set this customer up for success by proposing the TripleSafe Sump Pump System and the highly-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air filtration system to remove moisture from the air and keep the humidity levels below 50%, reducing the chance for mold to grow and thereby eliminating odors.
