Customer reached out to us stating there were several questionable cracks in the block foundation that it needed to be assessed. Once we came out and evaluated the cracks in question, our solution for this wall was to install 6 Carbon Armor, Carbon Fiber Strips with 6 Armor lock kits. This solution will permanently stabilize the home's foundation wall.
In this home, the crawl space was taking on water and would have puddles throughout the dirt ground area. We encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, which will seal any moisture or vapor coming up through the ground and prevent any mold growth. Lastly, the team finished the crawl space by installing our SilverGlo insulated wall panels, which provide a versatile solution that prevents mold growth or rot.
At this Annapolis home, this returning customer needed a vent over for the crawl space entrance. We dug out the old entryway of dirt and old wooden boards to replace with a new wood barrier, and then filled it in with stone instead of dirt. Our team then installed the vent cover over the opening of the crawl space, which is a durable plastic plate that will never rust, rot, or need paint.
At Quality 1st, we recently tackled a challenge faced by a homeowner in Annapolis, MD, who was dealing with an old and decaying vapor barrier in their crawl space. The dirt floor beneath their home was not only a concern for the integrity of their property but also for their health, as damp crawl spaces can lead to mold and poor air quality inside the home. Our System Design Specialist visited the home, where a thorough examination revealed the issues at hand. We proposed installing our CleanSpace liner along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to completely encapsulate the crawl space, prevent moisture entry, and ensure the air remained dry and healthy.
A homeowner in Annapolis, MD was growing increasingly frustrated with ongoing water seepage in their basement. The constant moisture had caused the paint on the walls to peel and signs of decay to appear, creating both a visual eyesore and a potential structural concern.
Wanting a permanent fix, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems for a reliable, long-term solution. After a thorough inspection of the basement, our team identified the source of the water intrusion and recommended a comprehensive waterproofing system tailored to the home’s specific needs.
To address the problem, we installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, designed to capture water at the foundation’s perimeter before it can seep onto the basement floor. This system directs water to the newly installed TripleSafe Sump Pump, which offers triple protection with a primary pump, secondary pump, and a battery backup for power outages. Together, these solutions work seamlessly to keep the basement dry and protected from future moisture damage. Now, the homeowner can enjoy peace of mind, and a clean, restored basement, for years to come!
