In Newfoundland, NJ, a homeowner reached out to us with a troublesome crawl space. They noticed increased moisture levels were causing musty odors to invade their living areas. It was clear that the primary culprit was unsealed, vented areas allowing moisture to creep in. To tackle this, we proposed our comprehensive crawl space encapsulation system featuring our CleanSpace and SilverGlo products. Soon after, our dedicated production team arrived on site. They began by laying the CleanSpace liner. This high-quality, 20-mil material provided robust moisture resistance, preventing mold and mildew buildup. Next, SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation was installed. Leveraging its innovative graphite-infused design, SilverGlo offered an R-11 insulation rating, paired with an effective radiant heat barrier.
This homeowner had water coming into his finished basement so they wanted a professional waterproofing and finishing contractor to solve their problem. He contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to waterproof the basement and help him refinish the basement space. EverLast basement wall panels were installed on the walls to insulate and protect the basement from water seepage. ThermalDry basement floor tiles were also installed which will elevate the temperature of this basement and are totally waterproof making them the best fit for this home.
Quality 1st Basement Systems lifted this sinking concrete in Somerset County with ease. The installation team injected PolyLevel underneath the slab. PolyLevel expands and lifts sinking slabs back into a level position, preventing trip hazards. This is a much better method than mudjacking, which is expensive and messy!
Quality 1st Basement Systems injected an expandable foam called PolyLevel underneath this sinking concrete slab. The foam filled the void underneath the concrete, pushing it back up and supporting it. Now this sidewalk in Somerset county is even and looks much better.
System Design Specialist, Mike F. recommended our Triple Safe Sump Pump and a full perimeter system to protect this wet basement and give the homeowner peace of mind. Our french drain system known as WaterGuard is installed above the footing of the foundation and is connected to the Sump Pump to collect and direct water out of the basement and away from the homes foundation.
