A homeowner in Ledgewood, NJ contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to replace their old sump pump system. We installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System which will provide three levels of protection against water intrusion. Three separate pumps sit inside the protective liner to handle high volume of water.
During annual maintenance on this high performance Sedona Sedona Dehumidifier, the Service Technician Chris inspected the system, cleaned the heat exchange core, checked the refrigeration system, and changed filters. Additionally, as this system was installed with a Condensate Pump System, Chris inspected, cleaned, and flushed the condensate drain lines to ensure that the waste condensate water continues to move out of the basement area properly. All set, the system was ready to continue its peak operation removing up to 95 pints of water per day!
The owner of this home met with an engineer who told her that she had foundation problems in her home. Her neighbor is a real estate agent, and has worked with Quality 1st Basement Systems during numerous buyer/seller transactions and recommended the team right away. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed CarbonArmor wall locks to secure the foundation and make this home safe again!
This crawl space had standing water after a bad storm and the new homeowner wanted to get this problem resolved right away since he just purchased the home and didn't want future damage to the space.
Quality 1st Basement Systems was able to completely waterproof this Skillman crawl space with Cleanspace, Drainage Matting, Silver Glo, Smart Pump, SaniDry Dehumidifier, and IceGuard. Any Future water leaks will be directed straight the the SmartPump and Pump out away from the home. The IceGuard will allow the water to still have a proper exit even in the winter when the pipe freezes.
This homeowner can now enjoy his new homer rain or shine without having to worry about a leaking crawl space.
A homeowner in Skillman, New Jersey noticed water coming in through their crawl space walls. This can happen because of the poorly compacted soil around the foundation that gets saturated during heavy rainfall. This saturated soil creates hydrostatic pressure and pushes water through the walls. A wet crawl space can have many negative effects such as mold, dust mites, increased energy bills, and poor air quality. This air can travel into the upper levels of the home and affect the homeowner's health. Our foreman, Esau Aquino, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System throughout the crawl space. This will ensure that no moisture will enter the crawl space and it will be kept dry. The vapor barrier system is durable and thick like a pool liner and is mold-proof and water-proof. Now, the homeowner's crawl space is healthy and protected from moisture and water.
