This sidewalk in South Brunswick had a sunken slab of concrete that was causing a trip hazard. System Design Specilaist, Mark, recommended PolyLevel solution to help raise and stabilize this sidewalk.
Foreman, Iian and his team arrived on time and made sure the entire area was clear and ready for the installation. Small penny-size holes were drilled into the slab to allowed the special equipment to inject the PolyLevel foam beneath. PolyLevel expands to fill any voids between the slab and the soil it lays on. Once the slab is raised back to desired level, it hardens to permanently stabilize the sidewalk slab.
A Monmouth Junction, New Jersey resident found Quality 1st Basement Systems on Facebook and decided to call for a second opinion on the water concerns they were experiencing in their basement. The unfinished basement would get rain through the walls and up from the floor during long periods of rain. This space was being used for storage and so when it would rain and puddles would form, the homeowner add to remove the water before the belongings would get damaged.
System Design Specialist, Greg Louis, recommended a full perimeter system that would collect the water and pump it out and away from the home. Our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump, WaterGuard french drain system and a backup battery to ensure the system works to keep the basement dry even during the strong storms if a power outage occurs.
Our service team provides annual sump pump maintenance and thoroughly cleans out the sump pump. It's highly recommended to have annual maintenances to help ensure the system can protect the home throughout the years without developing any issues.

A Monmouth Junction, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems describing their basement walls had began to move inwards. We call this, bowing, and it is usually caused by hydrostatic pressure against the foundation from the opposite side. The solution we recommended for a basement wall experiencing this type of movement, is the Carbon Armor Reinforcement System. The Carbon Armor Straps are applied to the wall with an epoxy adhesive which stabilizes the walls.
