Quality 1st Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System has multiple features that don't compare to any other sump pumps. First, there are three pumps that sit inside a protected liner to prevent damage or clogging. A Bridgewater Resident was in need of a new sump pump system as the old one died a long time ago. This was an issue as the water from heavy rain kept flooding the basement. Quality 1st Basements sent out system design specialist, Greg Louis, to inspect the area. Greg highly recommended having a triple safe sump pump system installed along with the waterguard french drain system.

This Bridgewater, New Jersey Resident hired Quality 1st and the team to provide them with a solution for the failing sump pump system in their basement. We removed the old system that had not been maintenance in years and replaced it with our SuperSump Pump system. Our system has an airtight lid to keep water from evaporating back into the basement air. It also keeps the pump safe below preventing anything from getting inside and causing damage. 

Jay Hugee, System Design Specialist for Quality 1st Basements, found that this customer had a problem with moisture beneath the insulation sitting between the floor joists. Trapped moisture on organic material (such as the wood) leads to mold growth and decay. To remedy this problem for the customer, foreman Luis Aguirre and his crew removed the insulation and sprayed Mold-X 2-part Botanical cleaner on the floor joists and left the insulation out so the air could dry out the moisture in an area where mold growth has potential.

Cement blocks in a crawl space have the potential to allow cooler air to seep in and cause the floors above to feel cool to the touch. Jay Hugee proposed SilverGlo insulation for this customer's home to boost energy efficiency as the panels reflect heat back into the crawl space.  The inclusion of a durable CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier (with a 25-year warranty against rips and tears) would provide a layer to separate the earth from the home and be a barrier to moisture which can cause mold and musty smells. Luis Aguirre and his crew were happy to install these crawl space products to help the customer.
