A homeowner in Vineland, NJ, found themselves battling persistent moisture issues in their basement. With water seeping in faster than their outdated sump pump could handle, concerns quickly grew about potential damage to the home’s foundation and air quality. Frustrated by the constant dampness and musty smell, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st in search of a lasting solution.
After conducting a thorough inspection, our experts identified the failing sump pump and inadequate drainage as the primary culprits behind the moisture buildup.
To address the problem, our team designed a dynamic waterproofing strategy tailored to the unique needs of the home. We installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to effectively capture and redirect incoming water, paired with CleanSpace Wall Panels to shield the basement walls from moisture and improve the overall appearance. Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, featuring three levels of protection, replaced the old pump to ensure reliable performance during even the heaviest rains. An IceGuard Discharge Line was also added to prevent freezing-related backups, and our high-performance SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier now keeps humidity levels in check.
With these advanced systems in place, the homeowner can now enjoy a dry, protected basement, and total peace of mind for years to come!
When the homeowner noticed vertical cracks in their basement wall they called Quality 1st to do the job. System Design Specialist, Ken Peare, did a full inspection of the basement to make sure that these cracks were the only cracks in the foundation of the home. Foreman, Melvin Cardoza, installed FlexiSpan into the cracks sealing them to prevent water from coming through. First bead of Sealant is placed inside the crack to stop crack leakage. A FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip is then placed over as a second form of protection against water leakage through the first seal, followed by the permanent seal overlay.
Our team installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System along against the walls of this Lambertville, NJ basement to protect against mold and moisture. The Vapor Barrier stops water seepage and moisture creating a dry and healthy space downstairs in the basement.
Concrete slabs sink and settle when the soil beneath it can no loner support the weight. Our concrete lifting and leveling solution known as PolyLevel, provides the concrete with the additional support it needs to prevent future settlement.
Above, you can see we injected the polyurethane foam underneath the slab, raising back to level.
A homeowner in Lambertville, New Jersey was looking to repair their damp crawl space. Their crawl space had puddles of water in some areas and even had signs of mold growth. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Dane Cuccinello, was able to provide an inspection and he suggested they encapsulate their crawl space. Our foreman, Jonathan Neira, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which will keep water and moisture out and is thick and durable like a pool liner. This system seals the crawl space from the earth and gives the crawl space a bright and clean appearance, perfect for storage space!
